MA 132 Externship

Prerequites: MA 101 , MA 102 , MA 103 , MA 111 , MA 112 , MA 121 , MA 122 , MA 123 , all with a C or better.
1 lecture hour, 160 externship hours: 3 credit hours
This experiential course provides students with a minimum of 160 hours of supervised, non-paid clinical experience across diverse healthcare settings. Students are assigned to approved clinical sites where they gain hands-on exposure to patient care, healthcare operations, and professional practice within their discipline. The course emphasizes reflective learning through structured journaling assignments, allowing students to connect practical experiences with theoretical knowledge and professional development.
