ED 101 Child Growth and Development Prerequisite: Placement into ENG 099 or higher 3 lectures per week: 3 hrs transfer credit This is a foundation course in the theories and principles of child growth and development from the prenatal through the adolescent years. It is an in-depth study of physical, cognitive, language, and social-emotional development. There is a special emphasis on the application of this knowledge in planning, implementing, and assessing student activities.
