CJ 208 Principles of Criminalistics Prerequisite: Placement into ENG 099 or higher 3 lectures per week: 3 hrs credit This course covers the application of the natural and physical sciences to crime solutions in law enforcement. All aspects of crime scene processing including evidence recognition, collection, protection and transmission, examination and evaluation of physical evidence, and identification and comparison of crime laboratory procedures are included. The role of the crime laboratory in modern law enforcement also is studied.
