BUS 170 Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management Prerequisite: None 3 lectures per week: 3 hrs credit This course provides a study of entrepreneurial pathways with the steps in small business management, including marketing, financing, managing, operating, and organizing. Opportunities of innovation are woven into the planning, budgeting, purchasing, inventory control, hiring, supervision, advertising, promotion, selling, record keeping, taxation, risk management, and other topics as they pertain to the small business owner and entrepreneur.
