ITNET 235 CCNA LAN Design Prerequisite: ITNET 175 with a C or better 2 lectures; 2 lab hrs per week; 3 hrs credit This course is designed to provide a hands-on experience in implementing and configuring complex Cisco multi-switched networks. The class will include an introduction to switched Ethernet network design, spanning-tree protocols, and configuration of Cisco switching devices. The class will also include advanced router concepts including traffic management, dynamic routing, OSPF implementation, and EIGRP implementation. Students will demonstrate the use of the Cisco IOS to configure and troubleshoot network switching and routing devices.
