ITNET 175 Introduction to Networking II Prerequisite: ITNET 165 with a C or better 2 lectures; 2 Lab hrs per week; 3 hrs credit This class provides a hands-on learning experience in managing, supporting, troubleshooting and optimizing an organization’s network infrastructure. This class introduces the installation, configuration and management of network switches and routers. Students will compare, contrast and troubleshoot different routing and switching protocols and services. The class will provide an overview of command and graphical interfaces used to access and configure network devices. Successful completion prepares students to pass Cisco’s entry-level networking certification exam (CCENT).
