ENG 216 Latin American Literature

Prerequisite: Qualifying placement via multiple measures into ENG 101 , or completion of ENG 099 with a grade of “C” or higher.
3 lecture hours: 3 credit hours
This survey course examines a variety of literary “masterpieces” written in Latin America and translated into English. Students will consider these works of poetry and fiction within some of their literary and historical contexts.
