Income Tax Preparer Certificate

This certificate program prepares students who wish to pursue a career as a tax preparer, either with an accounting or law firm, or by opening their own tax preparation business. Students will learn about tax issues for individual income tax, business income tax and tax representations, practice and procedures. Upon completion of the certificate, students will have knowledge of the topics covered on the IRS Special Enrollment Exam, which qualifies an individual to attain Enrolled Agent status with the IRS.
