The Pre-Health Professions suggested curriculum is designed as a guide for those students considering selective admissions programs in the health sciences. These disciplines have limited admissions and are related to the delivery of health care to humans and animals through the application of science, engineering, mathematics, and technology. Each field can have more specific requirements. Students are encouraged to determine the field of their choosing and consult additional resources for the best course choices. please see the more specific guides for Pre-Dentistry, Medicine, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Pharmacy, or Physical Therapy; if you are considering one of these fields.

I. General Education Core (37-38)
Area A: Communication (9 credits)
Area B: Humanities and Fine Arts (9 credits)
Select three courses from the list for Area B with at least one course from humanities and one from fine arts.
Area C: Mathematics (3 credits)
Select one math course from the list for Area C .
Area D: Physical and Life Sciences (7-8 credits)
Area E: Social and Behavioral Sciences (9 credits)
Select three courses in at least two different disciplines from the list for Area E .
