PTA 230 Physical Agents

Completion of PTA 150 and PTA 170 with a grade of “C” or better is required
4 hrs credit
This course will introduce the theory, application and documentation of physical agents used in physical therapy by the PTA under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist. Emphasis is placed on understanding the physiological effects, indications and contraindications and competent application of the physical agent as part of an established plan of care.
