ITCYB 203 Advanced Network Defense

Prerequisite: ITNET 175 with a grade of C or better.
2 lectures, 2 lab hrs per week: 3 hrs credit
This hands-on course emphasizes practical experience to help students develop specialized security skills to advance their careers. The course focuses on the security principles needed to secure and defend a network including network infrastructure, understanding core security concepts, managing secure access, VPN, cryptography, firewalls, intrusion prevention, web and email content security, and endpoint security. Successful completion prepares students for the Cisco CCNA Security certification.
