MUSIC 174 Music and Sound Production II: Intermediate Techniques

Prerequisite: Placement into ENG 099 or higher; MUSIC 171
4 lectures per week: 4 hrs transfer credit
This course is the second in a sequence of courses that teaches technical and aesthetic concepts of digital music production and recording. Students advance their skills of MIDI sequencing, and multitrack recording, and advanced editing techniques using software applications and tools. Through a series of projects, each student will produce several recordings in Pro Tools.
