LIB 101 Foundations of Information Prerequisite: Placement into ENG 099 or higher 1 lecture per week; 1 hour transfer credit This introductory course addresses the production, dissemination, and evaluation of information and knowledge. Students will gain the skills needed to effectively identify, gather, organize, and evaluate information from a variety of sources, both print and digital. The course will look at the research process as a whole, the ethical use of information, and citation practices.
