ITCYB 103 Introduction to Cybersecurity Prerequisite: IT 140 with a grade of C or better (recommended); Placement into ENG 099 or higher (required). 2 lectures per week: 2 hrs credit This course explores cyber trends, threats and staying safe in cyberspace, and protecting personal and company data. In addition, the course covers foundational knowledge in all aspects of security in the cyber world including information security, systems security, network security, mobile security, physical security, and ethics and laws. It builds students’ skills in related technologies, procedures, and defense and mitigation techniques used in protecting businesses.
