ITNET 245 CCNA WAN Design


Prerequisite: ITNET 235  with a C or better
2 lectures; 2 lab hrs per week; 3 hrs credit
This course is designed to provide a hands-on experience in implementing and configuring WAN technologies and network services for complex Cisco networks. The class will include an introduction to WANs. securing WANs, cloud computing, and configuration of Cisco routing devices. The class will also include advanced WAN and router concepts including configuring point-to-point connections, VPNs, ACLs, and Quality of Service implementation. Students will demonstrate the use of the Cisco IOS to configure and troubleshoot network routing devices. Successful completion prepares students to pass Cisco’s Certified Network Associates (CCNA) networking certification exam.
