MATH 095 Intermediate Algebra Prerequisite: MATH 090 or MATH 091 with a C or better or qualifying score on the Math Placement Test 4 lectures per week: 4 hrs non-degree, non-transfer credit This is a course in intermediate algebra. It is a prerequisite for transferable college mathematics courses. Topics covered include functions and graphs, systems of linear equations, one- and two-variable inequalities, roots and radicals, complex numbers, and quadratic equations. Emphasis is placed on the development of algebraic skills.
