ITNET 235 CCNA LAN Design

Prerequisite: ITNET 175 with a C or better
2 lectures; 2 lab hrs per week; 3 hrs credit
This course is designed to provide a hands-on experience in designing, implementing, configuring, securing, and troubleshooting enterprise networks. The class will include an introduction to wide area network technologies, quality of service, network security, virtualization, and network automation concepts. The class will also include advanced router concepts including traffic management and OSPF implementation. Students will demonstrate the use of the Cisco IOS to configure and troubleshoot network switching and routing devices. Successful completion prepares students to pass Cisco’s Certified Network Associate (CCNA) exam.
